Whilst collecting names for the Branch History Files, we have been highlighting those who fought in the two word wars, those who won medals and those who gave their lives.


Dave Page has done some interesting research into the bombing of  Hartlepool in August 1940 and the damage to Church Street branch when the shop next door suffered a direct hit.  The resultant paper was to large to include in Church Street's BHF, so we decided to start this separate page.
